Psc Booklet
This booklet may be used by the PSCOs for their quick reference. This booklet provides information on the salient areas to inspect ship, PSC inspection process, the critical areas for inspection where majority of PSC deficiencies are found, legal background as per various IMO Conventions, action taken codes used by the PSCO as per IOMOU PSC Manual, areas which are subject to inspection and details of organization of port State control
regimes. Also, Part II covers guidance and details for PSC as per the MLC and ILO maritime labour Convention (ILO MLC, 2006)
