Committee Meeting

The IOMOU Committee on port State Control (PSC) meets every year at accepted location to strengthen and deliberate on port State Control activities in the Indian Ocean. The Committee Meeting is attended by the IOMOU member Authorities as well as Observer state and Organizations. The meeting deliberations on circulated agenda continues for 5 days and decisions are noted for their implementation.

Significant agenda points of the meeting includes Port State Control activities in the Indian Ocean region, Harmonisation and improvement on Port State Control, Port State Control activities outside the Indian Ocean region, Technical Co-operation Programmes, Status of Relevant Instruments, Status of port State control activities in the member states and Information Exchange.
